  1. This guild will be used on both the X and U belts. First, using a 2.5mm Hex Wrench loosen the 4 M3x8mm securing the X or U motor in place. DO NOT remove them, just loosen them enough to let the motor slide. (Bolts are circled in red)

    • First, using a 2.5mm Hex Wrench loosen the 4 M3x8mm securing the X or U motor in place. DO NOT remove them, just loosen them enough to let the motor slide. (Bolts are circled in red)

    • Next, using a 8mm wrench turn the hex head bolt (indicated in blue) to adjust belt tension.

    • Turing to the left will tighten the belt

    • Turning to the right will loosen the belt.

    • You want both X and U belts to be similar tensions and can be plucked like a guitar string but so high that it makes a high pitch sound with plucked.

    • You will know if it is to loose if during moves it looks like the belt bunches up on one of the sides of the pulley or idler looking like a wave.

    • Once you have the belt to the proper tension secure the 4 bolts mounting the motor to the motor plate. (Red Arrow and Circles)
